Please read this notice carefully before purchasing or operating any drone or model aircraft from Skypro.

Drones and model aircraft can be enjoyable recreational products, but they can also present significant safety risks if they are not operated responsibly and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

By purchasing a product from Skypro, you acknowledge that you are responsible for ensuring that you understand and comply with all applicable safety requirements, laws, regulations, registration requirements and operating restrictions that apply to the product and its use in your location.

1. Recreational Use Only

Products sold by Skypro are intended for recreational use only, unless expressly stated otherwise.

Our products are not intended to be used for any unlawful, dangerous or unauthorised activity.

2. Drones Are Not Toys

Drones are NOT toys.

They contain moving parts, rotating propellers and electronic components that can cause injury or property damage if handled or operated incorrectly.

Products sold on this website are suitable for persons aged 12 years and over only.

Persons aged 12 to 17 must only operate a drone in the presence and under the supervision of a responsible person aged 18 or over.

Children should never operate a drone without appropriate adult supervision.

3. Risk of Injury

Drones can be dangerous and can cause serious injury if they are not handled and operated with appropriate caution and care.

Always read and follow the manufacturer's instructions and operating manual before using a drone.

Never operate a drone if you are unsure how to use it safely.

4. Propellers, Motors and Moving Parts

Never handle, pick up, adjust, repair or otherwise touch a drone while it is switched on or while its motors or propellers are rotating.

Always switch the drone off and ensure that the motors and propellers have completely stopped before handling the aircraft.

Keep hands, fingers, hair, clothing and other objects away from rotating propellers.

5. Keep Away From Animals

Do not operate drones around pets or other animals.

The sound and movement of a drone may frighten or distress animals and could result in unpredictable behaviour, injury or damage.

6. No Illegal Modification

Illegal or unsafe modification of drones or model aircraft is prohibited.

Do not modify, alter, disable or remove safety features, identification systems, software limitations or other components where doing so would breach applicable laws, regulations or manufacturer requirements.

Unauthorised modifications may affect the safe operation of the aircraft and may also affect its legal classification, registration requirements, warranty or eligibility to be operated in particular locations.

7. Restricted Airspace

Never fly a drone in or near an airport, flight restriction zone or other restricted or prohibited area unless you are legally authorised to do so.

Before every flight, you must check the applicable airspace restrictions and ensure that the intended flight is permitted.

Do not assume that an area is safe or legal to fly in simply because other people are operating drones there.

8. Know and Follow the Law

Drone and model aircraft regulations vary between countries, states, territories and local authorities.

Before purchasing or operating a drone, you must ensure that you understand and comply with all applicable:

• Safety regulations;
• Aviation and airspace regulations;
• Registration requirements;
• Licensing and competency requirements;
• Age restrictions;
• Flight restrictions;
• Privacy laws;
• Insurance requirements;
• Local authority restrictions; and
• Other laws and regulations relating to drones and model aircraft.

Skypro does not provide legal advice and cannot guarantee that a particular product may legally be operated in your location.

It is your responsibility to establish whether you are legally permitted to purchase, own, register and operate the product in your country or area.

9. If You Are Unsure — Do Not Fly

If you are unsure about anything relating to the drone, its operation, or the legal or safety requirements that apply to you, do not operate the drone.

Obtain appropriate guidance from the relevant aviation authority, regulator, manufacturer or other qualified source before operating the aircraft.

UK Customers

If you are located in the United Kingdom, you must comply with the rules established by the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and any other applicable UK laws and regulations.

UK drone rules changed on 1 January 2026, so customers should ensure they are familiar with the current requirements before flying.

Flyer ID

Under the current UK rules, you must obtain a Flyer ID by passing the CAA's theory test before flying a drone or model aircraft weighing 100g or more.

The Flyer ID demonstrates that you have passed the CAA's basic competency test for flying safely and legally.

You can take the test and obtain your Flyer ID through the CAA.

Operator ID

You must also obtain an Operator ID if you own or are responsible for a drone or model aircraft that:

• Weighs 250g or more; or
• Weighs 100g or more and has a camera.

The Operator ID must be displayed on the drone or model aircraft as required by the CAA.

An Operator ID must be obtained by a person aged 18 or over. If the owner of the drone is under 18, a parent, guardian or another eligible adult may need to register as the operator.

UK Flying Rules

Having the appropriate ID or registration does not mean that you can fly anywhere or in any manner you wish.

You must comply with the applicable UK Drone and Model Aircraft Code and all relevant airspace restrictions.

Among other requirements, UK drone users must not fly in restricted airspace, must not fly above 120 metres (400 feet) in the applicable circumstances, and must maintain the required separation from people and other aircraft.

You should check the current CAA guidance and applicable airspace restrictions before every flight.

International Customers

Customers outside the UK must comply with the laws and regulations applicable in their own country, state, territory or local area.

These requirements may include registration, operator licences, pilot competency tests, age restrictions, insurance, flight permissions, airspace restrictions and restrictions on where drones may be operated.

Skypro does not warrant or represent that any particular drone is legal to operate in every jurisdiction.

Before purchasing or operating a product, international customers should consult their relevant national aviation authority and local authorities to establish the requirements that apply to them.

 Customer Responsibility

By purchasing a drone or model aircraft from Skypro, you acknowledge that:

1. You are responsible for using the product safely and responsibly.
2. You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations.
3. You are responsible for obtaining any required registration, licence, permit, qualification or insurance.
4. You will not operate the product in restricted or prohibited airspace without the appropriate legal authorisation.
5. You will follow the manufacturer's operating instructions and safety warnings.
6. You will not use the product for unlawful purposes.
7. You will ensure that any person operating the product meets the applicable age, supervision and competency requirements.
8. You will stop using the product immediately if you believe that continued operation may be unsafe or unlawful.

Failure to comply with applicable laws, regulations or safety requirements may result in injury, property damage, legal penalties, fines or other consequences.
