2. Drones Are Not Toys
Drones are NOT toys.

Persons aged 12 to 17 must only operate a drone in the presence and under the supervision of a responsible person aged 18 or over.

3. Risk of Injury

4. Propellers, Motors and Moving Parts
Never handle, pick up, adjust, repair or otherwise touch a drone while it is switched on or while its motors or propellers are rotating.
Always switch the drone off and ensure that the motors and propellers have completely stopped before handling the aircraft.
Keep hands, fingers, hair, clothing and other objects away from rotating propellers.
5. Keep Away From Animals
Do not operate drones around pets or other animals.
The sound and movement of a drone may frighten or distress animals and could result in unpredictable behaviour, injury or damage.
6. No Illegal Modification
Illegal or unsafe modification of drones or model aircraft is prohibited.
Do not modify, alter, disable or remove safety features, identification systems, software limitations or other components where doing so would breach applicable laws, regulations or manufacturer requirements.
Unauthorised modifications may affect the safe operation of the aircraft and may also affect its legal classification, registration requirements, warranty or eligibility to be operated in particular locations.
7. Restricted Airspace
Never fly a drone in or near an airport, flight restriction zone or other restricted or prohibited area unless you are legally authorised to do so.
Before every flight, you must check the applicable airspace restrictions and ensure that the intended flight is permitted.
Do not assume that an area is safe or legal to fly in simply because other people are operating drones there.
8. Know and Follow the Law
Drone and model aircraft regulations vary between countries, states, territories and local authorities.

UK Customers
If you are located in the United Kingdom, you must comply with the rules established by the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and any other applicable UK laws and regulations.
UK drone rules changed on 1 January 2026, so customers should ensure they are familiar with the current requirements before flying.
Flyer ID
Under the current UK rules, you must obtain a Flyer ID by passing the CAA's theory test before flying a drone or model aircraft weighing 100g or more.
The Flyer ID demonstrates that you have passed the CAA's basic competency test for flying safely and legally.
You can take the test and obtain your Flyer ID through the CAA.

UK Flying Rules
Having the appropriate ID or registration does not mean that you can fly anywhere or in any manner you wish.
You must comply with the applicable UK Drone and Model Aircraft Code and all relevant airspace restrictions.
Among other requirements, UK drone users must not fly in restricted airspace, must not fly above 120 metres (400 feet) in the applicable circumstances, and must maintain the required separation from people and other aircraft.
You should check the current CAA guidance and applicable airspace restrictions before every flight.

Customers outside the UK must comply with the laws and regulations applicable in their own country, state, territory or local area.
